The WS activities were developed as follows:

  • Documentation of Quality Assurance of Engineering Study Programmes according to the MEDACCR Model: the session was devoted to deepen the documentation process of the Quality Assurance (QA) of Engineering Study Programmes (ESPs) according to the indications of the MEDACCR Model, consistent with the EUR-ACE Framework Standards and Guidelines (EAFSG) for the EUR-ACE accreditation of ESPs. Particular attention was paid to the design and review (self-assessment + improvement) processes.
  • Documentation of the Quality Assurance of Engineering Study Programmes involved in the MEDACCR Project: first draft: such session was devoted to the presentation of the first draft of the documentation report and the review report of the ESPs involved in the MEDACCR project by their representatives. The goal was to clarify all the possible doubts of interpretation of the MEDACCR Model, in order to enhance a correct writing of the documents necessary for accessing the EUR-ACE accreditation process as per the MEDACCR approach.
  • Training to the implementation and use of the software for the on-line documentation of the Quality Assurance of Engineering Study Programmes: the session was devoted to the presentation by CINECA expert about the software for the on-line documentation of the QA of ESPs developed by CINECA and of its Users’ Manual. The presentation was followed by the training to the implementation and use of the software of the representatives of the ESPs involved in the MEDACCR project.
  • Implementation of EUR-ACE Accreditation Centres in Partner Countries – state of the art: such session was devoted to the presentation and discussion of the state of the art of the implementation of Centres for the EUR-ACE accreditation in the Partner Countries by representatives of the Partner Countries involved in the implementation. Recommended accreditation structures and procedures, based on the experience of European Agencies for the EUR-ACE accreditation, were also presented and discussed by all the participants.
